Blue-Top Steering is now stocking small vehicle gear boxes again due to the high demand. 
We are trying to keep the more popular gearboxes in stock for GM, Ford, and Dodge. Our process involves custom fitting each worm and piston assembly with our precision made ball bearings which are in .0001" increments. We strive to build our gearboxes to better than new spec by using the custom sizing of the ball bearings, OEM style seals and Timkin, Torrington, and Ina bearings. We primarily use three different companies for our seal manufacturers which are made to OEM specifications. We Have a full service machine shop with CNC machine and manual machines. We bore out any housings that don't have a factory bearing installed. Typically the older Ford and Mopar gearboxes are bored for the bearing install. Each and every gearbox, valve, and cylinder is bench tested for leaks, power balance and internal bypass. We balance our valves within 1-/34 PSI with air before assembly and testing hydraulically. 

We are happy to be stocking and offering rebuild services for control valve units and full rebuild of all power steering cylinders. Control Valves are re-maunfactured, tested and balanced. All cylinders are cut open to replace piston rings and to replace chrome shaft. Cylinders are re-welded and tested for leaks and internal bypass.
